Inner Chatter overshadows attention

How does a conversation play a role in being a great leader, The kind of conversations which not only have the power to transform but also achieve results?

One of the definitions of leadership which echoed in my head was by  Joanne Ciulla  “Leadership is not a person or a position. It is a complex moral relationship between people, based on trust, obligation, commitment, emotion, and a shared vision of the good ”

How do purposeful conversations help a coach empower such leaders? Let me start by asking, What does a coach do?  He/She works collaborates with the client often listening to the said/ unsaid which helps in tapping their full potential and insights into their issues. For this a coach can employ many strategies first and foremost is of silencing the inner chatter. When the coach’s mind became quieter to what’s going in their mind devoid of their thoughts, judgements and ideas, it helps to experience outside thoughts, conversation better and with clarity.
